Malakwa, British Columbia — Nested within the mountains of the Eagle River Valley of British Columbia, the Rock n’ Soul River Festival begins its first-ever music and celebration festival for all ages, August 2-4 Long Weekend. The Festival's setting is located within an idyllic eight acres of land, lush with trees and native plants, encircled by enormous mountain peaks, and glacier-fed river streams.
Live music is at the heart of the Festival, and the line-up will feature popular local and international bands including Daring Greatly, The Guess Who's Donnie McDougall, The Noble Crew, and In Vertigo.
"The goal of the Rock n' Soul River Festival is to get back to nature with a collective tribe that shares in a common goal - celebrating love and independent music, performance art, and community," — Rock n’ Soul Festivals www.rocknsoulfestivals.com
The Festival is the brainchild of the band Daring Greatly, originally from Calgary, Alberta, who are returning to their Canadian roots for their "Give Myself To The World" Spring/Summer 2019 Tour, and the Rock n' Soul River Festival They have most recently performed, and developed their original music, in Southern California, readying for the eminent release of their single, "Give Myself To The World."
Daring Greatly, with mesmerizing five-part "blood harmonies," consists of a dad, his two sons and their two best friends. They've made it their goal to continuously share the message of being fearless, free, and vulnerable - to "step inside the ring" and to "dare greatly."
